President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev handed the mandate to form a parliamentary majority coalition to leader of the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan Chynybay Tursunbekov.
By handing the mandate, the President drew attention to a number of conditions and challenges that will face the new coalition.

The Aitmatov Academy was established in March of this year as a charitable organization to promote creativity of Chingiz Aitmatov who wrote in Russian and Kyrgyz languages.

The results of an OSCE-supported survey to address vulnerability to human trafficking in the south of Kyrgyzstan were presented at a roundtable discussion on 18 November 2011.
The survey was conducted in selected towns and villages in three southern regions of Kyrgyzstan to assess the vulnerability of local communities, especially young people and labour migrants, to human trafficking after the June 2010 events.

In Kyrgyzstan, the SDPK faction leader is ready to negotiate with the Ata-Zhurt on its joining the coalition. He reported about this to the journalists.

According to him, if social democrats receive a mandate to form a coalition from the future president, he will personally support a wide union.
